Compac's innovative inspectra system is our safe, non-invasive, near-infrared (NIR) technology used for testing the internal properties of your produce.
NIR is an internal testing method that does not damage produce. To sort for internal properties, light is projected at a piece of produce, using halogens. For more information click here.
SORTING SOLUTIONS
Central to our turnkey solution is sorting and grading. Your production requirements determine the number of lanes and which type of sorter is right for your packhouse. Sorting and grading is managed through our industry-leading Spectrim, Inspectra and InVision systems.
Compac Single and Dual Lane Sorters (SLS & DLS) are versatile platforms which can be used as the primary sorter for small to medium packhouses sorting between 1 to 8 metric tonnes per hour. SLS & DLS machines can also be used as a packing line when connected to larger Compac Multi Lane Sorter (MLS).

MULTILANE SORTER (MLS)
Compac Multi Lane Sorters are at the heart of a Compac solution, functioning as either pregrading or packing lines within the packhouse. Compac can provide a system for operations of all sizes, from packhouses requiring only a small sorter right through to solutions which incorporate infeed and peripheral equipment.
SMALL FRUIT SORTER (SFS)
The Compac Small Fruit Sorter (SFS) is the most advanced cherry sorter available, providing gentle handling from infeed to pack, industry leading size, shape, color and defect sorting, and hight throughput.
Designed for the most sensitive cherry varieties, the SFS improves packhouse throughput and consistency of pack, while providing significant labor savings for all varieties of Cherry.
